Jamshedpur, Feb 2: Lunch, fruits, towels and one month’s ration were distributed on the occasion of Late Asish Dey’s 70th birth anniversary. Asish Dey was the owner of Sakchi Sreeleathers. Social activist Dolan Dey and her team visited Ashirwad Bhawan, an old age home in Baradwari that is run by Brahma Kumaris. Dolan and her team served lunch and fruits to all the residents. Towels were also presented to them.
The team also visited Dinabandhu Leprosy Home in Rakhamines and provided one month’s ration to 30 families living in this ashram’s premises. Other necessary requisites were also given to these 30 families. Sarees for women residents, lungis for men and new clothes for children were also gifted to the residents of Dinabandhu Leprosy Home in Rakhamines on the occasion of Asish Dey’s 70th birth anniversary. On this occasion, 100 kg of rice, 50 kg pulse and other food requisites were provided by Captain Budheshwar to ensure that food stock never ran out. This food distribution initiative was made by social service group, Prateek Sangharsh Foundation. (w/gsd)
