Fly to Kolkata from Jamshedpur @ Rs 1999 from Jan 31

Jamshedpur, Jan 28: Commercial flights for passengers will start at Sonari Airport from 31st January. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will inaugurate the beginning of the air service on the first day.

Sources said the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has given temporary permission to start the service that would connect Jamshedpur to Kolkata. A nine-seater plane of IndiaOne Air will take off at Bhuvneshwar Air Port at 9 am and land at Sonari Airport at 10.50 am. It will depart for Kolkata at 11.30 am and reach there at 12.35 pm. The return flight will take off at 01.25 pm and reach Sonari Airport at 02.30 pm, sources said. IndiaOne Air has confirmed the development and begun booking of tickets. According to sources, 50 per cent tickets are booked till 14th February.  

Arun Kumar Singh, CEO, IndiaOne Air, said, “Our Company has started the air service with the low fare rate of Rs 1999 which would be applicable till 4th February. The fare after that period would be announced in the next week.
