Birsa Munda Airport announces winter schedule

Ranchi: Birsa Munda Airport has released its winter schedule, effective October 1, featuring changes in the arrival times of various flights. Notably, the service from Ranchi to Bhubaneswar has been discontinued. Conversely, the frequency of flights from Ranchi to Bengaluru has increased from five to seven, while flights to Hyderabad have decreased from four to three.

The total number of flights operating from Birsa Munda Airport remains consistent at 30, as in the previous summer schedule. Under the new winter schedule, passengers can access the following flights:

  • 3 flights to Kolkata
  • 7 flights to Bengaluru
  • 2 flights to Mumbai
  • 9 flights to Delhi
  • 3 flights to Hyderabad
  • 2 flights to Patna
  • 1 flight each to Deoghar, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Pune.

Airlines Operating from Ranchi:

Three airlines serve Ranchi, including Indigo, Air India Express, and Vistara. Indigo offers the majority of flights with 20 services, while Air India Express operates 9 flights, and Vistara provides 1 flight. The overall flight count remains at 30 for the winter season.

Birsa Munda Airport also features a direct flight service from Goa to Ranchi; however, there are currently no direct flights available for passengers traveling from Ranchi to Goa. Travelers wishing to fly to Goa will need to take connecting flights via Kolkata or Bengaluru.
