Jamshedpur, Sept 14: A special assembly marked the celebration of Hindi Divas at Loyola School Telco on Thursday, September 14. The acumen and proficiency of the students in the Hindi language added to the celebratory spirit of the day.

The event commenced with an introductory speech delivered by Arnav of Std 8 B. An ingenious event in the proceedings was that of Kumud Goswami of Std 4 B explaining to other students the essence and significance of Hindi Divas celebrations.

The fancy dress show put up by the students of Stds 1 and 2 was a novel concept in that the students appeared in the characters of eminent Hindi litterateurs and scholars. Their dress and makeup and their manner of appearance were so perfect that the audience had absolutely no difficulty in recognizing the literary Hindi masters they portrayed.

To add to the chain of Hindi Divas celebratory highlights was a captivating dance performance that underlined Hindi language’s invaluable contribution to Indian literature.

Collage making and slogan writing by students of Stds 3, 4 and 5 and alphabets-studded hand crafted flowers by the LKG and UKG kids were the other highlights that made Hindi Divas celebrations at Loyola School Telco a memorable occasion.

The success of this entire program was attributed to the dedicated efforts of the Hindi teachers.
