Ranchi: Five persons were killed in separate road accidents in different police station areas of Hazaribagh district.
Four persons were injured in the mishaps. In Sadar police station area, a homeguard jawan died in a collision between a truck and a van.
Four other jawans were injured in the incident. In another incident, a villager was killed after being hit by a vehicle on the National Highway near Bagodar under Mufassil police station area.
In two other incidents, two persons including a woman died.
