Five-day Prabhat Pheri to mark 554th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Jamshedpur: In anticipation of the 554th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru of Sikhs, a five-day Prabhat Pheri will be conducted in the Sakchi Gurudwara area starting from November 22. The route chart for the Prabhat Pheri was unveiled on Monday.

As per the released route chart, the Prabhat Pheri will commence with Guru Nanak’s visit to Sakchi on Wednesday, November 22. Nishan Singh, the head of Sakchi Gurudwara, and Paramjit Singh Kale, the general secretary, provided details about the event. In a recent meeting, a sub-committee was formed to oversee the Prabhat Pheri, with key members including Harvinder Singh, Pritpal Singh, Avtar Singh, and Surjit Singh.

Harvinder Singh, a member of the sub-committee, outlined the itinerary for each day. The Prabhat Pheri will traverse Guru Nanak Nagar Sakchi on November 22, Old Kashidih and Bagan area on November 23, New Kashidih and Baradwari on November 24, Refugee Colony and Sitaramdera on November 25, and conclude at Guru Nanak Nagar and Thakurbari Road on November 26.

Avtar Singh, Pritpal Singh, and Surjeet Singh Chhite, also members of the sub-committee, announced that the Prabhat Pheri will kick off daily at 3 am and is organized in collaboration with Sakchi Stree Satsang Sabha.
