First Mahotsav of Shakambhari Mata draws capacity crowd at Sakchi

Jamshedpur, Jan. 23: Sri Shakambhari Mata Pariwar Tatanagar organized first Mahotsav cum Mangalpath at Shiv Mandir in Sakchi market on Saturday.

The seven-hour long event saw devotees who were present in large number sing and dance on the bhajans of Shakambhari Mata. At the event Usha Shah and Umesh Shah performed the rituals by igniting the flame of Mata.

The devotees themselves decorated the darbar of Shakambhari Mata. At the religious program local artists Manoj Parikh and team presented bhajans along with Mangal path which made the devotees sway the whole evening.

The program which started at 3 in the afternoon continued till 10 pm as devotees braving cold continued to light the event till the very last moment.

At the event more than 250 women in traditional Rajasthani attire were part of the celebration. The main attraction of this religious Mahotsav was Mangal Path, Bhajan, decorated stage, Chhapan Bhog and Prasad.

The program concluded with Aarti and Prasad distribution. To make the event successful President of Sri Shakambhari Mata Pariwar Tatanagar Neetu Harnathka, Vice-president Sheetal Agarwal, Secretary Shilpi Palsania, joint secretary Neelam Palsania, Treasurer Manisha Kauntia, Alka Chetani, Anit Agarwal, Bindu Sharma, Gyana Shah, Usha Shah, Kavita Agarwal, Meera Jawanpuria, Sarita Sonthalia, Sheetal Agarwal, Anju Jawanpuria, Jaya Agarwal, Sadhna Moonka, Anita Sharma and others played a vital role.
