Jamshedpur, Jan. 4: A First Aid clinic was inaugurated at TGS Company in Gamharia by Rajesh Ranjan Jha, vice-president, (Engineering and Products) Tata Steel.
Addressing the gathering, Jha said that the clinic will help facilitate the employees of the company. The clinic offers immediate treatment.
‘Safety of the employee is company’s top priority but workers should also follow the safety guidelines during the work’, added Jha.
Shivlakhan Singh, general secretary of Tisco Majdoor Union, said the employees would now get 24 hour medical facility.
At the event officers of company and union pledged for better production and safety at the work place.
Present on the occasion were TGS chief Anil Kumar Singh, Manufacturing Chief Parwez Batiwala, Sarvanand Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Sitaram Bainj, SK Das, RK Singh along with management and union members.
