Firing incident at Kadma: Suman Singhĺs role under scanner

Jamshedpur : The mafia Kishore Pandey’s associate Suman Singh who is admitted at Tata Main Hospital with gun-shot injury in the firing incident in Kadma, is suspected to have been involved in the attack on Wednesday evening.

The suspicion for conspiracy is pointed towards Suman because the assailants who killed Pandey and another associate Bablu Singh by shooting four bullets each in their bodies left Suman (32) having fired only one shot, that too in his leg.

Senior superintendent of police, Amol V Homkar who is leading the investigation into the firing incident confirmed that the investigating police have suspicion on Suman who seemed to have been spared by the killers.

” We are probing under different angles but want to focus why did the shooters of Pandey’s rival gang spared Suman, a close associate and also a shooter, with a not so serious gun-shot injury,” said Homkar .

Suman, who is originally a resident of Siwan district of Bihar used to stay at Patratu along with Pandey as body-guard. On Wednesday evening, Suman had accompanied with Pandey and Bablu Singh from the Pandey’s house at Vijaya Heritage in Kadma to the meat-stall at the Kadma market.

A senior police official who is a part of the investigation into the murder case, said the police have already seized the cell-phone of Suman and are finding out whether he had made calls to anyone or received any call at the time they were at the meat-stall. Suman is undergoing treatment at the Tata Main Hospital under strict police vigil.
