Fire engulfs four-wheeler near Shaheed Park Chowk, swift action averts potential disaster

Chaibasa: A sudden and intense fire broke out on Sunday night at Jagapatiram Vishwakarma Auto Workshop near Shaheed Park Chowk in Chaibasa, engulfing a four-wheeler with registration number JH06B3825. The incident sparked chaos in the vicinity, prompting swift action from Congress leaders Mo Salim and Trishanu Rai, along with local residents Sanjay Rai and Rahul Mahato, who bravely attempted to extinguish the flames.

Despite their efforts, the fire’s intensity led to the partial burning of another nearby four-wheeler (JH05 AZ397) stored in the workshop, causing substantial damage to both vehicles. Notably, the workshop is located merely 10 steps away from a petrol pump, raising concerns about the potential for a more significant disaster. Fortunately, the fire did not spread to the petrol pump, averting a potentially catastrophic situation.

Trishanu Rai, a District Twenty Point member and Congress leader, played a crucial role in ensuring the fire department was promptly informed for security reasons. The fire officer, upon receiving the information, dispatched the fire brigade to the location. Their timely intervention helped bring the fire under control, preventing further damage and potential risks.
