Gamharia : An FIR has been lodged against officer-in-charge of Gamariah police station in Seraikela-Kharswan district of Jharkhand on the charges of alleged sexual exploitation of a woman constable of the same police station.
The officer-in-charge R N Choudhury was suspended on the directive of Superintendent of Police, Madan Mohan Lal, and an investigation has begun into the allegations leveled by the victim constable.
The victim had accused the OC of sexual exploitation and forcible abortion.
