Ranchi, Jan. 6: People and professionals related with film making praised the state govt. for considering their problems and paying attention to the agenda in connection with film making.
These film makers had assembled at Soochana Bhawan to discuss various aspects of film making and film city. IPRD Director Awadhesh Kumar Pandey briefed the makers about the govt.�s stand and asked for their suggestions.
Ashok Sharan said that the film policy of the state is compact and praise worthy. It will open a new arena for the makers and give them platform.
Documentary maker Mr. Meghnaad said that he supports the making of film city but it is a matter of discussion whether it should be designed after Ramoji Film City or Keral Film Development Corporation.
Mr. Sriprakash said that the endeavors shown in the film policy depicts honesty. He also suggested some points about the film policy.
People like Mr. Bijoo Toppo supported Jharkhand Film Development Corporation while others were in favour of Film City. Santhali film maker Mr. Ramesh Hansada praised the CM for his concern for the filmmakers.
IPRD Director Awadhesh Kumar Pandey said that IPRD will organize a workshop in February to exchange views on problems related with film making.
