Jamshedpur: The appointment of MLA of Jamshedpur East Raghuvar Das as the national vice-president of Bharatiya Janata Party was celebrated on Saturday at various places in the city.
Different committees of the party congratulated Das on his appointment at national level. Members of Narendra Modi Youth Brigade said the appointment would prove to be beneficial for the party in the Assembly elections.
The outfit members said the BJP would be able to get 42 plus seats in the polls under the leadership of Modi and other party leaders.
The outfit members held a meeting at Sundernagar. The meeting was presided over by Ram Prasad Jaisawal.
