Jamshedpur: Independence Day(I-Day) was celebrated in a grand manner at RVS College of Engineering and Technology(RVSCET) on Friday.
The chief guest of the programme was Bharat Singh, secretary of RVS Educational Trust. In his address, he said the students should preserve and protect the national independence and their individual freedom.
He said the students should also learn from the great people who sacrificed their lives for the country. Also present on the occasion was the director of the institute Dr MP Singh.
Singh said independence was the true and basic nature of every human being and that it should not and cannot be taken away from any individual.
