Father from St. Mary’s Church visits Noamundi College on Christmas Day

Noamundi: Christmas Day was celebrated at the Noamundi College campus with joy, mutual harmony, and brotherhood. On this occasion, an inspiring programme was organized by the college.

On the auspicious occasion of Christmas, Father George Ekka from St. Mary’s Church visited Noamundi College. On this occasion, the Christmas cake was jointly cut with the college Principal, Dr. Manojit Vishwas, and Christmas greetings were extended to the teaching and non-teaching staff present. During the programme, the principal welcomed Father Shri George Ekka by presenting him with a bouquet.

The Noamundi College family, considering all religions as equal ideals, has been continuously carrying forward the tradition of religious harmony and mutual respect. Under the guidance of the college Principal, Dr. Manojit Vishwas, every year service camps are organized for devotees during processions taken out on various religious occasions, including Sawan Somwari, Muharram, and Guru Nanak Jayanti.

On this occasion, Father George Ekka extended Christmas greetings to everyone and said that educational institutions are centers of knowledge, love, and brotherhood. He inspired everyone to adopt the values of love, service, and humanity in their lives.

The college Principal, Dr. Manojit Vishwas, said that Noamundi College is a symbol of unity in diversity. All religions and cultures are equally respected here, which proves helpful in the overall development of students.

The programme concluded with mutual greetings and an atmosphere of harmony.
On this occasion, assistant teachers of the college, including Sabid Hussain, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Singh, Naresh Kumar Pan, Jagannath Pradhan, Dayanidhi Pradhan, Rambahadur Chaudhary, Animesh Biruli, Pramila Devi, and other teachers, were present.
