Noamundi, Feb. 3: Tata DAV Public School, Noamundi, organized an Ashirvachan ceremony on Wednesday for the student of Class X and XII.
Prerna president C G Thamas was the chief guest on the occasion. While addressing the solemn function, school principal T K Mishra said that blessings have a divine power and if parents and elders bless the younger then their success becomes easier.
Sanskrit teacher Suresh Panda conducted �havan� enchanting vedic mantras. Music teacher Rashmi Bhattacharya presented a devotional song on the occasion.
This year, 159 students would appear in the board examination which is scheduled to be held on March 1 at the school.
