Ranchi: Palamu police raided a factory churning out fake ghee to its customers in Paneribandh village of Chainpur police station area on Saturday.
The superintendent of police of Palamu Narendra Kumar Singh said the illegal business was on for the last two months. The manager of the Daltonganj branch of Vananchal Gramin Bank is the suspected owner of the factory.
He is at large. Police have seized 30 tonne fake ghee and raw material used in making the product.
