Seraikela: Seraikela Blindness Control Committee is running an eye check up drive in all blocks of Seraikela-Kharsawan in a phased manner. In the first phase of the campaign, 16 resource teachers and 16 physiotherapist teachers were trained to identify and categorize eye related ailments. In the second phase, all trainees gave training to assistant teachers of schools in their respective blocks. The assistant teachers have been asked to bring students suffering from eye related ailments to the block resource centre for further examination.
