Excel India Model School students shine in Janmashtami competitions

 

Jamshedpur, Aug 25: Students of Excel India Model School showcased their talent by winning several prizes in cultural competitions organized by Shri Mahadev Shivshankar Dham, Hurlung, on the occasion of Janmashtami.

The event featured a range of competitions including group dance, fancy dress, painting, and dahi-handi, where the children of the school delivered outstanding performances. In the senior group dance category, Ankita Oraon and Silky Kumari secured the first prize. In the junior group dance competitions, Group-A winners included Sanjana Pramanik, Raveena Mahato, Kajal Mahato, Lily Modi, and Deepti Soren, while Group-B was led by Kiran Mahato, Anisha Hembram, Anjana Oraon, and Sonakshi Hembram, who also bagged first place.

Several other students, including Sonaram Soren, Sangeela Soren, Rangeela Soren, Kajal Kumari, Kiran Kumari, Anisha Hembram, Surya Kumar, Pramod Kumar, Dushyant Gop, Antara Adak, Kumari Anushka, Anjana Oraon, and Dolly Mahato, participated in the fancy dress, painting, and dahi-handi competitions and earned appreciation for their performances.

The chief guest, Brahmadev Prasad, Head Sevadar of the Dham, awarded the winners. School Principal Mamta Kumari congratulated the students and lauded the efforts of parents, teachers, and sevadars of the Dham, including Vinay Shankar, Rani, Sapna, Ramesh, Anand, and the team, for their support.
