Ex-Servicemen honor Martyrs with “First Diya” Program in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur : On Saturday, the Ex-Servicemen Service Council organized the “First Diya in the Name of Martyrs” program at the Transport Ground in Agrico. The inauguration was carried out by the Council’s District President and retired ex-serviceman, Havildar Vinay Yadav, who lit the ceremonial lamp. State General Secretary Siddhanath Singh, in the program, paid homage to the parents of the martyrs by lighting the first lamp.

In anticipation of Diwali, ex-servicemen first gathered at the Golmuri martyr site, where they solemnly paid tribute to the valiant martyrs. Subsequently, the patriotic assembly proceeded to the ground, where they honored the brave martyrs by lighting lamps on a map of India crafted by Matrishakti.

Every individual present was urged to dedicate the first lamp in their homes to the gallant martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of the nation.
