Jamshedpur: Ram Gopal Gupta, father of former state minister and MLA of Jamshedpur West Banna Gupta, passed away on Monday following heart attack.
Late Gupta is survived by a joint family at Kadma. He breathed his last at his residence in the presence of family members.
He was taken to Tata Main Hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.
Condolences poured in from different quarters after the news of Banna Gupta�s father transpired. State Food Minister Saryu Roy visited Gupta�s residence and consoled him.
He expressed his sympathies with the family members of the departed soul.
Late Ram Gopal will be cremated tomorrow at Parvati Ghat, Bistupur.
