Ranchi, September 13: Chief Minister Hemant Soren continued to woo masses ahead of the assembly polls by stating that with blessing of the people the Jharkhand government will give one lakh rupees per year to every poor family of the state.
“If you continue to bless us we will give Rs 1 lakh to each poor family so that they do not depend on money lenders. This scheme will continue for the next five years,” said Soren addressing a function of Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program organized at Lalpaniya Football Ground in Bokaro on Friday.
Earlier Soren inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 525.94 crore for Bokaro district. Among these, schemes worth Rs 74 crore 34 lakh 64 thousand were inaugurated and the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 451 crore 59 lakh 62 thousand was laid.
The amount of the second installment was released online to the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Mainya Samman Yojana and was described by the chief minister as a mark of respect for the women to celebrate the Karma parva.
He said that the land of Jharkhand is the land of Veer Birsa Munda, Sido Kanhu and Vinod Bihari Mahto.
“The people here are not afraid of bullets and guns and going to jail. I am ready to fight every situation with the support of the public. In the upcoming assembly elections, the INDIA bloc will again form the government in Jharkhand,” said Soren referring to his arrest by Enforcement Directorate earlier this year over alleged money laundering charges pertaining to land scam.
Hemant Soren counted the achievements of his government and targeted the opposition.
The CM mentioned the situation that arose during the Covid pandemic and the state government role in bringing stranded migrant workers from other states through trains, flights and other means.
Hemant warned about BJP dividing people on religion line ahead of elections.
“The elections are about to come. It seems BJP is using all big leaders for Jharkhand elections. These people will come among you. They will talk about Hindus and Muslims. We have to stay away from them,” said Soren.
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Jamshedpur on September 15 to flag off Vande Bharat trains and also distribute amount of Prime Minister Awas Yojana benefits to beneficiaries along with dedication of government schemes. Union home minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Sahibganj on September 21 accompanied by chief minister of several BJP-ruled states.
“They might use as many leaders as they can. We will thrash them so badly that these people will not be able to stand in Jharkhand again,” warned Soren.
