Evaluation of Class VIII Board exam answer booklets begins

Gamharia: The work of evaluation of answer booklets of Class VIII Board examinees began at the Block Resource Centre Building in Gamharia on Wednesday. It is expected to take a week�s time to get completed, sources said.

Sources said around 4000 students had appeared in the recently held Class VIII Board exams across Gamharia. Government and private teachers have been deputed at the centre to carry out the evaluation work. Due to lack of space, the teachers are compelled to sit on the floor.

According to the Block Education Expansion Officer (BEEO) Mrigendra Baira, the answer booklets of Gamharia I and Gamharia II region are being evaluated at the same centre. This has led to a space crunch, he said.
