Ensure prompt disposal of public complaints: DC

Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharsawan Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan has directed the district administration officials of various departments to ensure timely and prompt disposal of complaints received through Mukhyamantri Jansamvad programme.

The DC asked the excise superintendent to prosecute those found involved in the distillation, storage, distribution and sale of illicit liquor. He said FIRs should be lodged immediately on such persons. He asked the officials to furnish report on raids conducted by them.

Sources said the district administration has also taken serious view of encroachment on government land. A notice has been issued against several persons following the unauthorized construction of a tower in Adityapur, sources said.
The DC asked the district administration officials to ensure adequate drinking water supply to the residents of various areas and provide irrigation facilities to farmers wherever needed.
