Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Women’s University has commenced the enrollment process for its one-year certificate courses, starting from March. Aimed at providing employment-oriented education to interested girl students, the university, under the guidance of Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta, offers a diverse range of courses to ensure a bright future for its students.
Interested candidates can apply for enrollment until April 30, with the list of selected candidates set to be released in the first week of April. The university offers financial assistance of Rs 3000 per session and Rs 500 per month to girl students.
Among the courses available, the university offers an Artificial Intelligence course for MCA/BCA graduates who have secured 45% marks in B.Sc Physics, Chemistry, Computer Application, Mathematics, and Information Technology.
Additionally, Post Graduate Commerce students can enroll in courses such as Digital Marketing Art and Event Management, provided they have obtained 45% marks in their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science and Commerce.
The Department of Master’s Commerce also offers a GST course for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students in Arts, Science, and Commerce.
Furthermore, the Biotech Department offers courses in Food Microbiology, Forensic Science, and Plant Tissue Culture for B.Sc. Biotech, Botany, and Agriculture students.
For those interested in music, the Post-Graduate Music Department provides courses in Guitar (Spanish) and Kathak for graduate and post-graduate students of any faculty.
Moreover, the Department of Undergraduate Zoology offers a Sericulture course for students who have secured 45% in their last session of Arts, Science, and Commerce.
