Gamharia: Several dozens of shops were pulled down in an anti-encroachment drive launched by the district administration at Kandra market on Tuesday.
A large number of police officials led by a magistrate were deputed at the site of removal of encroachment by the order of the deputy commissioner.
Many shops were bulldozed during the campaign.
