Encroachment removed from Durga Puja ground

Gamharia: Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration launched an anti-encroachment campaign in Chhota Gamharia on Tuesday. Encroachment was removed from government land near Durga Puja ground in a drive that continued for several hours. Gamharia Circle Officer Kamini Kaushal Lakra was present as the executive magistrate on this occasion. A huge deployment was police force was made to control the mob of protestors who failed to do much.
Some of the local residents sought some time to remove encroachment, but were disallowed. The CO said the action was taken on the directive of the state government.
