Emerald house wins �Best� at JH Tarapore annual sports day

Jamshedpur, Dec. 18: The Annual Sports Day of JH Tarapore School was held at the J. R.D.Tata Sports Complex on Friday.

The Chief Guest for the day was Lt. Col. Kishore Singh.

Mr. B. Bodhanwala, the Chairman of Tarapore schools and Mrs. Rubina Bodhanwala, the Managing Trustee of Tarapore schools, graced the occasion with their presence.

The march past formation, by the students of Std. IX – XII, was a Sparkling Star’ , as it is the ‘International Year of Light’. The flag drill performed, in coordination, by the students of Std.

IX -XI I added colour to the formation and brought in a sense of unity and camaraderie.

The Kg, and Primary department children charmed the spectators with their drills.

The Middle School drill paid tribute to one of the greatest hockey players of our country , Major Dhyanchand , who is popularly known as ‘Hockey Ka Jadugar’.

The winner of the march past was �Sapphire� House. The best athlete girl was Bushra Anis while best athlete boy was Simran Nandi. �Emerald� House won the prize for the best house.
