Chandil: Elephants injured several people and pulled down several hours in several villages of Chandil late yesterday night.
Three persons, identified as Alomani Devi, Ram Singh Munda and a nine year old girl Ashtami Kumari were injured in the incident. They were injured when a wall demolished by the elephants fell on them.
The forest ranger of Chandil CN Tripathy said the injured were taken to Patkum health centre for treatment. Many animals were killed in the destruction.
