Seraikela, Feb 3: Soon big firms dealing in electronic equipment will be setting up base at the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster which has been completed at the Adityapur Industrial Area.
The first such electronic manufacturing cluster of eastern India will lead to this region developing as electronic hub and units can be established at prices varying between Rs 15 per square feet and Rs 1.5 lakh per square feet. This information was shared by state industry secretary Puja Singhal while inspecting the manufacturing cluster on Tuesday.
The Jharkhand government would soon have a policy for establishing anchor industry unit at the electronic manufacturing cluster. The cluster has all the modern infrastructure required for establishing industrial area.
The industry secretary informed that there are a total of 51 plots at the cluster which varies between 1,100 and 2,000 square feet in area. A total of Rs 185 crore has been spent in construction of the cluster.
The region which so far was known as an automobile hub would be developed as an electronic hub and invitation has been sent to multinational companies in electronic sector to set up base at the cluster. Invitation will be sent to big companies like Dell, HP, Lenovo etc.
