Electricity dept workers plan protest on 9th May

Jamshedpur: The contract workers of Jamshedur Area Board of the state electricity department will be organizing an agitation before the department headquarters in Ranchi on 9th May.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting organized at Shahid Ganga Narayan Community Building in Sonari under the chairmanship of the outfit president Dinesh Singh.

It was unanimously decided to wage a massive agitation to put pressure on the state government get the various demands of the contract workers fulfilled.

Among those present at the meeting included Bhanu Kumar, Manish Kumar, Tarkeshwar, Dilip Dubey, Naeem Ansari, Abhay Kumar, Shashi Bhushan Sharma, Ranjit Sharma, Munna and Shatrughan.
