Seraikela, March 6: With the announcement of election dates the preparations have started all over the country and also in Jharkhand. On Thursday, March 5 New District Commissioner of Seraikela Hansraj Singh held meetings with Seraikela SP, Block development officers and other administrative officers.
DC said that to make elections successful district and police administration have started their preparations and keeping security in mind task are being made. The district administration had already started the preparations as they appointed Nodal officers. DC further said that we will be writing a letter on Thursday to the election commission to sent the election materials as early as possible.
The work of adding names and correcting them in Voter cards is in progress while after March 19 the work will be stopped. Keeping elections in mind the banners, hoardings put up in different locations of the city will be removed.
To have maximum turn out on polling day awareness program will be held specially for 18 to 20 yaers new voters.
