Jamshedpur, Nov. 12: SDSM School for Excellence, Jamshedpur conducted a Workshop for students of class 9 and 11 to commemorate the Education Day as per CBSE guidelines.
The purpose of the session was to make students think and analyze the value of Education.
Mrs. Moushumi Das, the Principal of the school through the workshop made the students think on the �Value of Education�.
She said, �Education is not mere learning from the text but learning beyond the text�. Small team of students was formed and the leader of the group was selected �to consolidate the views of the students to speak�.
A Quite Time session was conducted to introspect and realize the purpose of life and bring revolution in the system of Education through proper use of technology.
Regarding the session, the children also expressed their own views. Rohan said, �Education is to face the challenges of life�. Another student Ankita from Std. IX said, �Education means to explore new things, face the world, earn for yourself to change the society�.
The Principal of the school concluded the session by saying, �One thought brings about the change in the system.�
