Jamshedpur, Dec 9: Out of a total of 626 innovative ideas selected by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, from Jharkhand East Singhbhum district with 164 selected proposals topped the chart which is a matter of pride for the district�s Education Department.
The Inspire Award presented by the S & T Department has attracted 10 thousand entries from students. The students whose innovative ideas have been selected will get Rs 10 thousand each for giving concrete shape to their ideas. Their models then will participate at the district level and then state level competitions.
Innovative ideas selected at the state level will provide a platform for selection at the national level. East Singhbhum District Education Officer (DEO) Shivendra Kumar said, �This achievement is a matter of pride for teachers and the Department. I am elated with the results which have been recognized by S & T Department of the Government of India. I congratulate all the teachers of the schools.�
