Jamshedpur, Sept. 13: Seraikela-Kharsawan boys defeated East Singhbhum to win the Divisional level Chief Minister Invitational Football Tournament organised by Jharkhand government�s tourism, art, culture, sports and youth affairs dept under the aegis of Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration at Arjuna Stadium in Seraikela on September 11. Both the teams failed to score in the allotted time after which the match was decided through tie-breaker.
Seraikela-Kharsawan boys scored 4 goals against East Singhbhum which managed only 2 goals to end up as the runners-up team. The winners and runners-up team were awarded trophies and medals.
Chief Guest for the occasion was District Sports Officer of Seraikela-Kharsawan Praveen Kumar, block development officer Dayanand Jaiswal, district sports association secretary Mohammad Dildar, Plus 2 Rajkiya Uchh Vidyalaya Principal SK Tripathy and others were present.
