Jamshedpur, Sept 21: Chief Election Officer of Jharkhand directed East Singhbhum district officials on Friday to run a voters awareness campaign on social media. Addressing all District Returning Officers-cum-Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and District Deputy Returning Officers of the state through video conferencing, he said all basic civic amenities should be provided to voters at all polling booths of the district. The officials were also asked to ensure proper function of the toll free voter helpline number 1950. After Durga Puja, training would be imparted to small groups for successful implementation of the election process.
