Earth Day observed at Lajpat Public School Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 22 : Lajpat Public School in Jamshedpur commemorated Earth Day on Monday, April 22, with fervor and enthusiasm. The school organized a series of engaging activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness among its students.

Students from Nursery to Std 1 participated in a speech competition, showcasing their understanding and concern for the planet. Each participant impressed both peers and faculty alike. Manju Rudra, the Proprietor of Nirbhaya Play School, graced the occasion and commended the children for their efforts.

Following the speech competition, students from Std 2 to 7 engaged in an inter-house quiz competition centered on earth-related topics. The quiz served as an educational tool to deepen students’ knowledge about environmental issues while fostering healthy competition. The Shivaji and Shastri Houses emerged victorious with their grasp over environmental studies.

The entire program was expertly coordinated by teachers Rashika and Tista, who ensured smooth execution and maximum participation from the students.
