Dumka, July 2: Jharkhand government’s road construction department minister and MLA Basant Soren participated in the distribution program of assets in Dumka.
On this occasion, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 187 schemes worth Rs 2225.12 crore.
He gave appointment letters to a total of 102 youth under MNREGA and distributed assets under Credit Linkage, Abua Housing Scheme, Chief Minister Gram Gaadi Scheme etc.
Minister Basant Soren inaugurated the Dumka bypass road at Phulo Jhano Chowk.
Chief minister Champai Soren himself was going to come to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of these schemes, but due to the cancellation of the program, Basant Soren inaugurated it.
Basant Soren said that the government is running various schemes for roads, irrigation of fields, health facilities for better transportation facilities. The government is making schemes for the benefit of the common people and implementing them. The government is taking decisions keeping in mind the aspirations of the people and working.
Basant Soren said that the government has brought the Abua Housing Scheme so that the homeless get homes. Construction of irrigation schemes is being done so that every field can get water. The government is also continuously working to have better roads for transportation. With the establishment of medical college, many serious diseases are being treated in Dumka district itself.
The government is working at a fast pace for the development of the people
He said that the result of the speed at which the government is working for development is visible on the ground.
