Dulal likely to join BJP, to say So long to JVM

Jamshedpur: Former state minister-cum-MLA and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader Dulal Bhuiyan may join Bharatiya Janata Party by 10th August. As an indication of is changing political allegiance, his office at Bhuiyandih has once again changed in appearance overnight.

Sources said Bhuiyan decided to join the saffron party after feeling too let down by party leadership and finding himself at a loss to ascertain his own status in the organization. Apparently impressed by the performance of the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, he was also quite compelled to think following the victory of former Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Vidyut Varan Mahato against the JVM stalwart Dr Ajoy Kumar.

Importantly, senior BJP leader Saryu Roy yesterday announced in Ranchi that the party was in touch with four to five JVM leaders willing to join the saffron party shortly.

With Bhuiyans Given the high tide being ridden by the BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections, Bhuiyan too, considered it wise to rethink his political allegiance. His thought was revealed by his action when he removed the yellow and green colours of JVM and the party flags from his residence and office in Bhuiyandih.

Earlier, in a similar fashion, the former land and revenue minister had removed everything even remotely associated with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha after deciding to quit the party for JVM. His office was painted in the yellow and green colour pattern of JVMs party flag.

He was elected the MLA of Jugsalai on a JMM ticket. But later, his differences grew with the party leadership including Guruji, Sibu Soren, grew, compelling him to seek shelter in the party founded by Babulal Marandi.
