DSP Sudhir Kumar’s wife accused of assault

Jamshedpur: Bhavana Sharma, a resident of Adarsh Nagar Phase 10, Sonari, has lodged an assault complaint against the wife of DSP Sudhir Kumar of West Singhbhum district. The incident occurred on Sunday night when Bhavana’s son was celebrating with firecrackers on the road. Bhavana reported the incident to the police, who arrived at the scene.

According to Bhavana, her children were enjoying fireworks on the road when DSP Sudhir Kumar’s wife objected and a confrontation ensued. The situation escalated to the point where the police were threatened. Bhavana sustained minor injuries and received treatment at TMH. As of now, there is no formal written complaint filed, according to Police Station In-Charge Vishnu Raut.
