DSM School students showcase innovative AI and robotics projects at TechNove Expo

Jamshedpur, Jan 17: DSM School for Excellence hosted TechNove Expo–2026, a STEM exhibition organised in collaboration with Myra Academy and the Centre of Excellence lab, featuring advanced robotics and electrical design training tools. The event aimed to highlight the integration of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in learning, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and real-world applications of science and technology.

The exhibition saw enthusiastic participation from 102 students of Std. 1 to Std. 9, who presented 25 innovative projects across diverse STEM domains, including automation, robotics, sustainable energy, healthcare technology, safety systems, and smart infrastructure. Notable exhibits included AIra – Voice Assisted Robot, Train Accident Prevention System, RFID Home Security System, IoT Smart Baby Cradle, Talking Dustbin, and Dual Axial Solar Tracker. Primary-level students also displayed projects on the Solar System, Water Cycle, Human Anatomy, and Rainwater Harvesting, reflecting age-appropriate scientific thinking.

The event was inaugurated by Saugandh Singh, Director, DSM School for Excellence, who praised the students’ confidence, conceptual clarity, and ability to connect classroom learning with real-life challenges. Akash Katode, Myra Academy Trainer, guided the students throughout the project development process.

Visitors, parents, and faculty actively engaged with the young innovators, giving students a platform to explain and defend their ideas, fostering communication skills and analytical thinking. Dr. Indrani Singh, Institutional Growth Strategist, and Dr. Geetha Nair, Principal, lauded the students’ creativity and encouraged them to continue exploring with curiosity. The school management also appreciated the dedicated efforts of teachers in supporting the exhibition.
