Jamshedpur, Oct 18: A CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training session was held at DSM School for Excellence, Jamshedpur, in collaboration with St. John Ambulance, Jharkhand State Centre, to raise awareness about first aid and life-saving skills.
The session, organised in the school hall, was graced by Raj Singh, State Vice-President; N. B. Chatterjee, Nodal Officer; Dr. Sudhakar Singh, HOD Medical; P. Bhaskar Rao, Training Coordinator; and Shashank Kunal, Assistant Secretary of St. John Ambulance.
Experts provided practical training on performing CPR on adults, children, and infants, along with demonstrations of first aid for burns, injuries, choking, and cardiac arrest. Students and teachers actively participated, gaining confidence in handling emergencies.
Principal of DSM School thanked the St. John Ambulance team for the informative session. Saplings were presented to guests as a token of appreciation and a symbol of life and growth.
