Drug De-Addiction Campaign Promotes Awareness in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: A Drug De-addiction Campaign was conducted in Jamshedpur, focusing on raising awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The campaign commenced at Bagunahatu Chowk and concluded at Bagunahatu Stadium, where participants interacted with young cricketers, encouraging them to pledge for a drug-free Bagunahatu ground and its surrounding areas.

The campaign aimed to protect the youth from falling into the trap of drug addiction while promoting a healthier, more aware, and prosperous community. It highlighted sports and other positive activities as effective tools for youth development and as a means to prevent substance abuse.

Prominent figures attending the event included BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar former District President Gunjan Yadav, State Minister of Yuva Morcha Amit Agarwal, former District General Secretary Rakesh Singh, Baridih BJP Mandal President Jeevan Sahu, BJYM District General Secretary Abhimanyu Singh, and Baridih BJYM Mandal President Kanchan Dutta. Other active members such as Rajesh Goswami, Paresh Das, Akash Das, Satish, Curfew, Mahi Dilesh, and Chandan, along with several youths, participated in the initiative.

The campaign continues to spread the message of building a drug-free, healthy, and vibrant future for the youth of Jamshedpur.
