Jamshedpur, Mar 17: Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway’s divisional railway manager (DRM) V. K Sahu on Wednesday inspected the Tatanagar Station and then went to Badampahar section.
The DRM was accompanied by Tatanagar railway station area railway manager Binod Kumar and other officials of engineering department.
Incidentally, as per railways plan, electrification of railway lines for nearly 89 km long on Tata Badampahar route will be done soon out of which 55 km work has been completed and that DRM has decided that till the length electrification work is completed they will start electric engine from March 31.
Under Badampahar section nearly six stations comes in the distance of 55 km in which the electrical work has been completed and they might passenger trains soon.
In this connection principal chief operation janager of South Eastern railway Prabhas Darsana will be coming for inspection of the Badampahar section electrical work on Thursday. It is expected that passenger train will ply on this section by March end.
COM and DRM inspect Sini railway station
Jamshedpur : South Eastern Railway’s COM Prabhat Dantana and DRM Vijay Kumar Sahu inspected the Sini railway area on Wednesday. During this time, both officers reached the JTC training center where training of loco pilots, TTEs and guards started on Wednesday.
On the occasion, they found all the arrangements satisfactory. They then inspected the railway quarters. On the occasion, welcoming the officials arrived by the South Eastern Railway Men’s Congress’s Sini Branch Secretary Sanjay Singh along with other office bearers, demanded a new quarters in place of the condensed railway quarters.
Besides, other demands were also placed before the authorities in the interest of railway employees. Upon which the officers were assured to complete it by considering it sympathetically.
