DRM calls for early completion of foot overbridge at Tatanagar Railway Station

Jamshedpur, March 24: Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Arun J Rathore, during a comprehensive inspection of Tatanagar station, has directed the engineering department to expedite the construction of the new foot overbridge to enable the timely installation of escalator facilities. Rathore meticulously assessed passenger amenities and security provisions at the station.

Anticipating increased passenger traffic during the Holi festival, Rathore emphasized the necessity of effective crowd management. He instructed Railway Protection Force (RPF) and commercial officers to ensure passengers board trains in an orderly manner to prevent seating congestion.

Moreover, Rathore sought updates on the water system from the engineering department, considering the escalating temperatures. The station witnessed the presence of railway officials from various departments, alongside DRM inspectors, to address the operational requirements identified during the inspection.
