Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) special officer Sanjay Kumar carried out a surprise inspection of Bhuiyadih Bus Stand at around 9pm on Saturday. Protests are being held by vendors, auto drivers and cart owners over the parking charge after the recently concluded parking badobasti of the Mango bus stand parking lot. He took feedback of several vendors, auto drivers and shop owners about the new changes being implemented.
Sanjay Kumar said that of the 6 people, 5 were found satisfied with the new facility. The cleanliness level is also better and the buses were also parked systematically. Fruit seller Jasmin and snacks vendor Mohammed Naushad informed Sanjay Kumar that they are being charged Rs 100 parking fee but they are satisfied as they business has improved as compared to when they put up their carts outside the bus stand.
Litti seller Parsuram Gupta, betel shop owner Goutam Chourasia, tea seller Sudhir said that they are surprised over mismanagement at the Bus Stand and they are fully pleased with the new system in place. Special Officer has directed City manager Ranjan Pandey to camp at the Bus Stand to overlook the full system for a week.
