Jamshedpur: Drivers� Day will be celebrated on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja at Hotel City Inn on 17th September under the aegis of Sidhi Vinayak Logistics Limited.
More than 500 drivers will be felicitated on the occasion. They will also be given new uniforms on the occasion. The programme will start in the evening.
The chief guest of the programme will be Mohammad Nehal, DIG Kolhan. Many other senior government officials will be present during the programme. This was informed by Anil Kumar Srivastava, director of Sidhi Vinayak Logistics Limited, Eastern Region.
Srivastava went on to add that Red FM will be the media partner for the programme. He said the main purpose behind organizing the programme was to spread awareness among drivers of heavy vehicles and motivate them.
Various programmes will be organized on the occasion. Artists from Kolkata will participate in the programme. A health check up will also be organized on the day.
