Jamshedpur, August 23: Senior Congress leader and former MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar has criticized current MLA Saryu Roy for his lack of action in addressing the issues faced by residents of Bhuiyadih. In a press statement released on Friday, Dr. Kumar accused Roy of failing to deliver on promises of civic improvements over the past five years.
Dr. Kumar highlighted the dire living conditions in Kalyannagar, Radhikanagar, and Bhuiyandih Basti, where residents reportedly lack basic amenities, including toilets. He claimed that Roy’s neglect has led to the residents enduring a “hellish life” and alleged that Roy is now seeking credit for addressing issues that he previously ignored.
Dr. Kumar stated that while he is actively working to resolve the residents’ problems, Roy’s recent efforts appear to be a desperate bid to reclaim credibility. Dr. Kumar will provide further details on the situation in a press conference scheduled for Saturday, shedding more light on the ongoing issues and Roy’s handling of them.
