Jamshedpur: State Congress president Dr Ajoy Kumar held a meeting with party workers and leaders of various Assembly constituencies on Monday to discuss election preparations and various organizational issues. He directed party workers to organize anganbari sevikas and sahayikas and increase party�s activities in anganbaris and rural areas.
He said the party workers should reach out to the masses and raise their issues with the government authorities. He said the party should build a bond with the people and win their trust in order to ensure victory in the 2019 elections.
Kumar also attended a public event at Dhatkidih Workers Flat and addressed local residents. He said certain people with vested political interests were trying to harm the country by misleading the people. He said the people should unite to remove the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in other states. He said the country was burdened by various scams including the one pertaining to the purchase of Rafale fighter jets.
Among those present on the occasion included Abdul Rafiq, Mohammad Nisar Ahmad, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Tasleem Ansari, Ashfaq and Mohammad Shakeel.
