Jamshedpur: Former MP of Jamshedpur and national Congress spokesperson Dr Ajoy Kumar has been nominated as the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee president.
Another party leader Alamgir Alam has been nominated Congress Legislative Party leader of the state. Their names were approved by the Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi. Five zonal coordinators were also nominated by the party high-ups.
District Congress members distributed laddoos to celebrate Dr Ajoy�s nomination. They distributed sweets at various places including Sakchi roundabout on Thursday. State Youth Congress president Rakesh Sahu said the party would go from strength to strength under Dr Ajoy�s leadership.
